In partnership with Gables of Cape May County, Equality Cape May is proud to announce that, in addition to our two annual scholarships, we will be offering a third LGBTQIA+ youth scholarship this year in memory of Vincent P. Grimm.
Vince was a dedicated advocate for the LGBTQ+ community in Cape May County and across New Jersey. As Executive Director of GABLES, he devoted countless hours to advancing equality, helping achieve domestic partnerships, civil unions, and ultimately marriage equality. He supported numerous LGBTQ+ events, served on multiple boards, and was the creative force behind the Rainbow Directory, promoting LGBTQ+ tourism in Cape May County.
We are honored to recognize his legacy through this additional scholarship, created in partnership with GABLES.
We are also deeply grateful to an angel donor whose generosity has made this third scholarship possible.
That means three scholarships will be awarded this year, supporting LGBTQIA+ youth in our community.
